Bodega Miguel Merino – Table 26
Founded in 1994 by Miguel Merino Snr in Briones (Rioja Alta), Bodega Miguel Merino is one of the smallest producers in DOCa Rioja, farming 13 hectares of old vines across 34 parcels. Now led by Miguel Merino Navajas, the estate combines traditional Rioja practices with a strong focus on vineyard expression. The 2021 Miguel Merino La Loma was awarded 100 points by Tim Atkin MW and the estate has been classified as a Rioja First Growth in his most recent report.
Bodegas de La Marquesa (Valserrano) – Table 20
Established in the late 19th century in Villabuena de Álava (Rioja Alavesa), this family-owned estate has remained in continuous family ownership since its foundation. Now in its fourth generation, the winery produces wines from limestone-rich estate vineyards, maintaining a clear emphasis on origin and structure. Pablo Simón will be present at the tasting to showcase the Valserrano range.
