About the producer

Nyetimber is located in West Sussex and only produces sparkling wine sourced from their own vineyards. Nyetimber derives from ‘Nitimbreha’, the name of the land a millennium ago, meaning a new timber house or a small timber plantation. It was the first English estate to plant traditional Champagne grapes in 1986. They have been producing award-winning wines ever since and set the standard in quality English wine production. In 2025 their Blanc de Blancs 2016 (en Magnum) was the first wine outside Champagne crowned Champion Sparkling Wine at the International Wine Challenge awards, the world’s most influential and rigorously judged wine competition.
