Greenwich Wineshop awarded Runner-up London Neighbourhood Wine Shop of the Year 2020 by Decanter magazine.
We were delighted to be awarded Runner-up London Neighbourhood Wine Shop of the Year 2020 in the Decanter Retail Awards. This is a huge achievement given the challenges of the last six months and all of the team deserve huge credit for their hard work in keeping us operational throughout the pandemic.
The five-strong judging panel, which featured no less than two Masters of Wine, seemed especially impressed by the calibre of entries this year. Judge Andy Howard MW commented, ‘I was almost astonished at how good most of the entries were given the environment that everybody was in when they would have been doing this, so I think an awful lot of commendation needs to be given to the people who’ve put this together.’
