Crittenden Estate

Garry Crittenden was the first vintner to see the potential of the Mornington Peninsula. Since his first plantings in 1982, his commitment to the region has seen the Mornington Peninsula flourish to world recognition. Today, his son and daughter have embraced and taken on the family business with Rollo controlling the winemaking and general management and Zoe taking care of all of the marketing. Following sustainable practices, conventional use of chemicals has been abandoned to make way for an innovative program of inter row cover crops of peas and oats, a composting regime and using recycled water to nurture their land and build soil health. Chemicals are not used on the vines either.
