An exciting new addition to the offer this year, Cascina Massara’s history dates to the early 1900s by Andrea Burlotto, the great grandson of Verduno’s famous Il Commendatore G.B. Burlotto. Winemaking in the Burlotto family was a collective endeavour, but in 2013 Giancarlo Burlotto and his son Gianluca decided to focus their attention on producing their own wine from 10ha of the family vineyards. There is a traditional approach to the winemaking and we were very impressed by our first visit to taste in January.
