Château de Laborde is a historic winery located near Beaune, France, with roots dating back to 1119. Once owned by the Dukes of Burgundy, the estate was transformed into a magnificent Château in 1678, earning it the nickname "The Versailles of Burgundy." After falling into disrepair, the Château was purchased in 1998 by Hervé Kerlann, a wine enthusiast who had worked in the fine wine distribution industry. Hervé and his wife Mandy have since restored the Château and its vineyards, producing local and daring wines that challenge tradition while respecting the soil, grape variety, and vintage. The estate now spans four hectares of family-owned vineyards, with an additional nine hectares of grapes under contract.
