Bertrand and Martine Ambroise head up a 21-hectare domaine with much of the work now done by their son François and daughter Ludivine. Based in Prémeaux-Prissey, Cotés du Nuits, they own Grand Cru Vineyards in Clos de Vougeot and Corton and Premier Cru Vineyards in Nuits-St-Georges: Les Terres Blanches (Blanc), Les Argilliéres, En Rue de Chaux and Les Vaucrains. The wines are well-known for their ability to age but François has introduced additional freshness and elegance into the wines without losing any of their traditional depth and concentration.
