For those in the know, Rocche Costamagna make some of the most expressive and good value wines in Barolo from their winery in La Morra. One of the historic Barolo producers, they have been bottling wine uninterrupted since 1841 and continue to age their wines in large Slavonian oak barrels. They also benefit from having the largest holding of the famous Rocche dell’Annunziata vineyard, one of the best spots in La Morra, with the wines from here increasingly in demand. Plots are vinified separately to give flexibility at the blending stage, allowing for the best expression of each bottling.
