The estate’s steep vineyards, with their sun-drenched slopes, provide the ideal environment for the ripening of the grapes. Only the best fruit is selected for this wine, which is hand-harvested at the peak of ripeness. Fermented in traditional stone lagares (shallow tanks), with foot treading to maximise extraction. The wine is fortified with aguardente and matured in oak casks. A full-bodied, rich wine with concentrated dark fruit flavours of blackberry, plum, and chocolate. It has firm tannins and a long, persistent finish, with excellent ageing potential.
