Product description
29 hectares in the Pessac-Léognan appellation, planted on deep gravel soils over clay and sand. Vines average 30 years of age, with meticulous vineyard management practices, including green harvesting, leaf thinning, and manual harvesting. Traditional winemaking methods are employed, with fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged for 18–22 months in 80% new French oak barrels. Bouquet of blackcurrants, ripe plums, graphite, and smoky cedar, with nuances of crushed violets and tobacco. The palate is opulent, with velvety tannins, layers of dark fruit, savoury earthiness, and a touch of mocha.
