Château Angélus is a St Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classé A that was founded in 1782 by Jean de Boüard de Laforest, a King’s bodyguard. Since 1985 Hubert de Boüard de Laforest, the seventh generation, is in charge of the domain alongside his cousin Jean-Bernard Grenie. The estate has the particularity to be located in a natural amphitheatre, overlooked by three churches which angelus bells’ sound is amplified when ringing. View our selection.
