About the producer
About the producer: Château Gloria
Château Gloria is a relatively new estate in Saint Julien. Founded in 1942 by Henri Martin, the son of a cooper, who purchased 6 hectares of vines on the advice of his friend, Jean-Charles Cazes, (Jean Michel Cazes’s father from Chateau Lynch Bages). Henry later bought more parcels from Cru Classe estates, including Chateau Talbot and Gruaud Larose and today the Domaine Henri Martin owns 5 estates including Chateau Gloria, Chateau St Pierre, and Chateau Beychevelle-Gloria. Sadly Henri Martin passed away in 1991 and his son-in-law, Jean-Louis Triaud, now runs Chateau Gloria, a popular Bordeaux appreciated for its early drinkability, charming character and fair prices. Vineyard & Winemaking
The estate spreads over 50 hectares of vines and is planted with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot, with an average of 40 years old vines. The wine is aged in a combination of large oak foudres and small oak barrels, 50% of which are new.

Returns
Returns
SALE OR RETURN is available by prior arrangement only and for orders of 96 bottles or more. All returns are at the customer’s expense. Returns must be made within 28 days of original delivery and goods must be in a resalable condition. We reserve the right to only refund up to 25% of the original order. For further details please contact customer services 020 8858 6011.
CANCELLATIONS can be made within seven working days from receipt of delivery, provided that all wines are unopened and in their original condition. To cancel an order customers should contact the Customer Service team on 020 8858 6011 or email orders@davy.co.uk. It is your responsibility to keep the wines safe and in their original condition until collection is made.
TASTING CANCELLATIONS – full refunds can only be made where at least 7 days’ notice is given prior to the event date. Refunds will only be given after this time if we are able to re-sell your tickets. In the event that a tasting is cancelled, Davy’s shall offer customers a full refund.
