About the producer: Château Kirwan
Château Kirwan is a 3ème Cru Classé located in Margaux. The property was named after Mark Kirwan who inherited the estate after marrying the daughter of a famous merchant Sir John Collingwood. The domaine has been in the Schÿler family since the 18th century and is now owned by the négociant firm Schröder and Schÿler. Château Kirwan has regained its reputation in the 1990s, when renown oenologist Michel Rolland started consulting at the estate, producing deeper and fuller wine and with more complexity.
