Yolanda Garcia Alvarez, one of Spain’s top oenologist, is convinced that great grapes need time and care to reveal their best. She believes long maturation in both barrel and bottle is absolutely necessary and meticulously selects each barrel to produce powerful and elegant wines that will last for decades. She only releases wines in the best years.
Sourced from low yield vineyards and aged for 18 months in two type of oak, Una Cepa means one vine as it takes one vine to make one bottle. Complex aromas of cherry and strawberry with hints of pepper, dry herbs, leather, vanilla and farmyard. Powerful yet refined on the palate with smooth tannins, an elegant acidity, and a long finish. This will keep for 20 years.
