Product description
Nestled in Belvès-de-Castillon on the northern bank of the Dordogne, just east of St-Émilion, Château Brisson has been under the stewardship of Paul Valdés since 1980. The estate encompasses 18 hectares, predominantly planted with Merlot vines that are over 30 years old. Committed to quality, the grapes are hand-harvested, yields are meticulously controlled, and great care is taken to enhance the soil’s biodiversity.
This wine, from a landmark vintage, is now beginning to reveal its full character. Dense and rich with sweet fruit, it offers a fuller-bodied experience. Moderate tannins, elegantly wrapped in oak and spice, lead to a long, mouthfilling finish, where flavors of black cherry, black currant, and licorice linger enticingly.
