Product description
Belonging to the Oliveira Martinho family since 1851, this estate has consistently upheld and enhanced the production of Port and Douro DOC wines, preserving the tradition of high-quality winemaking. They utilize old vines and the finest grape selections from new vineyards.
Sourced from old vines and crafted using traditional methods, including foot-crushed grapes and open tank (lagar) fermentation with natural yeasts, this wine is aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels.
This intense ruby-coloured wine boasts great complexity, featuring vibrant aromas of wild fruits, minerals, mint, and eucalyptus—distinctive of the Silveira terroir. On the palate, it is elegant and soft, with well-framed tannins that contribute to an overall elegant and balanced composition.
