Product description
Winemaker Rikus Neethling blends two small batches of Sémillon from the Darling (Morningstar) and Franschhoek (Robertsvleipad) regions. These two lots of fruit are picked and vinified separately, then blended after fermentation in concrete eggs and stainless steel tanks. The wine receives no oak treatment but undergoes a few months of bottle maturation to gain extra complexity. Vibrant citrus and green apple aromas, with subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, showcasing crisp acidity and a hint of minerality, all balanced by a smooth, rounded texture.
