Product description
The Bousquet family relocated to the foothills of the Andes from the south of France in 1997, with the aim of merging traditional French winemaking practices with Mendoza’s exceptional agricultural conditions. Situated in Tupungato, their 110-hectare vineyard lies at an altitude of 1,200 meters. Domaine Bousquet is renowned as Argentina’s premier organic winery, certified as a B-Corp and dedicated to regenerative viticulture.
Domaine Bousquet’s flagship wine, named after co-owner Labid al Ameri, is a Malbec-dominant blend. Enhanced by Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot, this wine transitions from “expected” to “exciting,” offering complex dimensions. Produced only in the finest vintages, a mere 500 cases are crafted each year. The grapes, sourced exclusively from the estate’s highest vineyard at 4,125 feet, are meticulously selected for their superior quality.
With a striking violet hue, this full-bodied wine boasts notes of red and black fruit, fig, raisin, and black pepper. Its long, memorable finish serves as a mouthwatering testament to its French-Argentine heritage.
Lively acidity freshens the flavorful mix of thyme, cherry, raspberry, blackberry and hints of tobacco that invade the soft but firmly structured palate.
