Product description
Château Beau-Site’s vineyards are situated on gravelly soils typical of the Saint-Estèphe appellation. The vines average 45 years of age. Temperature-controlled fermentation and extended maceration for around three weeks to extract color and tannins. The wine was aged for 12 to 16 months in French oak barrels, 40% of which were new. Aromas of dark cherries, cassis, and plum, complemented by hints of tobacco, cedar, and spice from the oak ageing. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with fine-grained tannins and a balanced acidity.
