Product description
The intensity of the “big brother”. La Croix Boissée is a unique plot with old vines planted in 1974 on the slope of the Cravant hill with south exposure. Low yields of 30hl/ha, and the Cabernet Franc comes from masale selection. Individual plot vinification in open 30hl wooden vats with 100% destemmed grapes. Maceration lasts 18 to 25 days, followed by 18 months of ageing in Burgundian barrels. Complex aromas of ripe blackberry, violets, and subtle spice. Full-bodied with vibrant acidity, fine tannins, and a distinct mineral edge. Long, elegant finish with excellent ageing potential.
