Product description
From steep Côte Blonde vineyards planted on pale schist and gneiss soils, with vines aged roughly 10-40 years. Grapes are hand-harvested and grown under reasoned (sustainable) farming. 70% destemmed fruit fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel with gentle daily extraction and three-week post-fermentation maceration. Aged 16-18 months in French oak, about 15% new. Red berries, cherry and raspberry aromas with violet and peony lift, layered with pepper, olive and spice. The palate is velvety yet focused, showing energetic red and dark fruit, fine tannins and a long, fresh, spicy finish.
