Product description
Auxey-Duresses is renowned for its stony soils rich in active limestone, a terroir that imparts pronounced minerality to the wines. Grapes undergo pneumatic pressing, followed by indigenous yeast fermentation in barrels at controlled temperatures (18-22°C). The wine is aged for 11 to 15 months in French oak barrels, with a low percentage of new oak. Fined and filtered. Enticing notes of buttery toasted hazelnuts and a hint of vanilla. The palate is generous and long, beautifully showcasing Chardonnay’s delightful essence. Its youthful vivacity will soon give way to richer complexity.
