Product description
The vines grow on old sandy and clay soils on the Saint-Émilion plateau, with an average age of around 35 years. Sustainable vineyard practices are followed to preserve soil health and encourage biodiversity. Fermentation takes place mainly in temperature-controlled vats with a portion vinified in one-year-old barrels to add texture and complexity. The wine is matured for around 14 months in a combination of vats and French oak barrels. Expressive and polished with aromas of red cherry, plum and a hint of mocha. The palate is supple and refined with juicy red fruit, fine-grained tannins and a smooth, elegant finish.
