Product description
From Château Gruaud-Larose’s vineyards in Saint-Julien, planted on deep Garonne gravel soils well suited to Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate spans around 82 hectares. Produced as the château’s second wine from younger vines and selected parcels. Vinified by plot in a mix of traditional vats, then aged in French oak barrels (typically with a modest proportion of new oak) for around 12–18 months. A classic Saint-Julien style showing dark red and black fruits layered with cedar, spice and subtle tobacco notes. Medium-bodied with fine tannins, balanced acidity and a fresh, savoury finish.
