Product description
The fruit comes from multiple steep parcels in the villages of Mauves, Tournon, Glun, and St-Jean de Muzols – the original heart of Saint-Joseph, from 30-year-old vines. The soil is decomposed granite, similar to Hermitage. Fermentation is 20% whole clusters with indigenous yeast. Fermented in cement and stainless-steel tanks. Aged for 12 months in 50% older barriques and 50% older demi-muids. Vibrant aromas of red berries, black pepper, and floral notes. The palate is elegant and well-balanced, with silky tannins, lively acidity, and a long, mineral-driven finish.”
