Product description
Domaine Digioia-Royer has its roots in the 1930s, when it was started by Victor Moretti in the village of Chambolle-Musigny. Since 1999, it’s been run by his grandson, Michel Di Gioia, who’s carrying on the family tradition with care. The estate is small—just under five hectares—but includes some great vineyard spots like Chambolle Fremières and the Premier Crus Gruenchers and Groseilles, all farmed sustainably.
The wine shows a deep, rich red color. On the nose, it’s full of red fruit—think cherries and blackberries—with a fresh, juicy feel. The taste is smooth and layered, with soft tannins and a long, elegant finish that keeps you coming back for another sip.
