Product description
Following sustainable practices, Vincent and Francois Jouard avoid using chemicals. They only bottle their oldest vines (at least 50 years old) to produce a limited amount of solely cuvée ‘Vieille Vignes’ every year.
The 1er Cru Les Chevenottes receives a lot of sunshine and is rich in limestone, adding flinty aromas to the wine. Matured in oak barrels (25 to 30% new oak) for up to 15 months. Aromas of lime and apple with notes of oak and minerals. Rich and generous on the palate with a long finish. Good ageing potential.
