Product description
Careful selection of grapes from the best-located vineyards in the Valpolicella hills and the Marcellise Valley, at an altitude of 120-200 metres, with vines aged 20-25 years. Hand-harvested. Fermented at a controlled temperature for 4 days, during which young Valpolicella is passed again over Amarone marc. Then, aged for 12 months, with 35% in new oak and the rest in barrels of 1 and 2 years old. Aromas of ripe fruits and sweet cherry. Intense and full-bodied, yet delicate on the palate with velvety tannins and a lovely sweetness on the finish.
