Product description
Vines around 40 years old grown in Clos Rousseau, a Premier Cru site in Santenay, with east-facing slopes and sandy granite soils. The vineyard practices are sustainable, with a planting density of 8,000 vines/ha and yields controlled at 40 hl/ha.
Hand-harvested grapes are meticulously sorted, with 75% destemmed. Fermentation follows traditional Burgundian methods, maintaining controlled temperatures. The wine matures in concrete tanks allowing gentle micro-oxygenation.
Ripe cherry, blackcurrant, and subtle oak aromas lead to a rich palate with silky tannins. Vibrant red fruit, earthy undertones, and a mineral finish reflect the wine’s elegant structure.
