Product description
This Chardonnay is crafted from a blend of Dijon, Wente, and Davis clones. Harvested in two phases, the first pick comes from the Phelps Creek estate, while the second is from higher-elevation vines, picked slightly later due to slower ripening. The grapes are whole-cluster pressed to preserve delicate flavors and fermented in 10% new French oak barrels to enhance texture. The wine undergoes bâtonnage and partial malolactic fermentation (around 50%) to add depth and a creamy mouthfeel. Aromas of ripe orchard fruit, with subtle hints of vanilla and toast from the oak. The palate is balanced, with flavors of pear, apple, and a touch of lemon curd, complemented by a smooth, rounded finish.
