Product description
The Burger and Morkel families released the first Roodekrantz wines in 2015. Committed to preserving ancient Certified Old Vine Heritage Vineyards, they work closely with their growers, encouraging respectful and sustainable vineyard practices. No new oak ensures the quality of the fruit and terroir shine through in every bottle.
The Rhenosterbosrug is a sensational Chenin Blanc hailing from old Swartland vines planted in 1983. It is absolutely jam-packed with rich aromas of apricots, peaches and orchard fruits alongside distinct floral hints. The palate is seriously complex and satisfying with pure fruit flavours and a long, fragrant finish.
Part of a superb line up of Old Vine Project-certified wines from Roodekrantz, this Swartland Chenin Blanc hails from a Swartland parcel planted in 1983. Perfumed and stony, it has understated oak, leesy intensity, peach and citrus flavours and good weight for a wine with 12.6% alcohol.
