Product description
Nestled in the heart of Régnié, this 30-hectare estate was acquired and meticulously restored by Belgian vintner Jean Joly in 2006. Beyond Régnié, their vineyards extend to some of Beaujolais’ most prestigious crus, including Morgon, Chénas, Juliénas, Côte-de-Brouilly, Moulin-à-Vent, and Fleurie.
The Morgon, a true standout, originates from one and a half hectares of 40-year-old vines. Each grape is hand-harvested with care and undergoes a six-day cold maceration to preserve its vibrant character. In the glass, it reveals a captivating dark ruby-garnet hue. The bouquet is an enticing mix of luscious red berries, accented by a whisper of black pepper and delicate violet undertones.
On the palate, this medium-bodied wine balances supple tannins with a medley of ripe raspberry, cherry, and blueberry flavors, all wrapped in a gentle veil of spice. It’s a fresh, berried delight—perfect for those who savor wines that marry elegance with a burst of juicy, red-fruit intensity.
