    Corte Cavedini, managed by Umberto, Paola, son Marco, and daughter Elena, is a seven-hectare vineyard in Valpolicella hills, Marcellise Valley. Hand-cultivated using organic practices, Umberto inherited the vines in 1996 from his father Guado. Upholding tradition and embracing innovation, the family’s passion for winemaking and respect for terroirs shine in their quality wines.

    Deep ruby in colour, this dessert wine offers rich aromas of ripe cherry jam and sweet spices. The palate is velvety and full-bodied, with a harmonious balance of sweetness and freshness, leading to a long, elegant finish.

    About the producer: Corte Cavedini

    Corte Cavedini is a small family owned winery which was created in 1996 by Umberto Cavedini, following his father’s steps. Alongside his wife Paola and children Marco and Elena, he follows sustainable practices and works in respect of the tradition and teachings received from his ancestors. The family owns 7 hectares of vines located on the calcareous Valpolicella hills in Marcellise Valley, surrounding their recently refurbished cellar. Calcareous soil combined with great sun exposure allows the grapes to achieve both phenolic and sugar ripeness. This is the perfect environment for native grapes Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Oseleta and Croatina to thrive, giving low yields and producing very elegant and complex wines with good structure.

    Returns

    SALE OR RETURN is available by prior arrangement only and for orders of 96 bottles or more. All returns are at the customer’s expense. Returns must be made within 28 days of original delivery and goods must be in a resalable condition. We reserve the right to only refund up to 25% of the original order. For further details please contact customer services 020 8858 6011.

    CANCELLATIONS can be made within seven working days from receipt of delivery, provided that all wines are unopened and in their original condition. To cancel an order customers should contact the Customer Service team on 020 8858 6011 or email orders@davy.co.uk. It is your responsibility to keep the wines safe and in their original condition until collection is made.

    TASTING CANCELLATIONS – full refunds can only be made where at least 7 days’ notice is given prior to the event date. Refunds will only be given after this time if we are able to re-sell your tickets. In the event that a tasting is cancelled, Davy’s shall offer customers a full refund.
