Product description
Grapes are sourced from selected parcels in Meursault, with vines averaging 35 years of age. These vineyards are situated at higher altitudes, which helps preserve freshness and acidity. The focus is on careful canopy management and low yields. Fermentation takes place in a mix of stainless steel and French oak barrels, with indigenous yeasts. Gentle 12-month ageing process, with 20% of the wine in new oak barrels. Lees stirring during maturation to enhance texture and complexity. Ripe white peach, citrus zest, and delicate almond notes. The palate is medium-bodied, with a crisp, mineral backbone and well-integrated oak. Flavours of fresh stone fruits and a touch of vanilla are complemented by a lively acidity.
