Product description
From a seven-hectare estate on the slopes of Solutré in Mâcon, the vines are ploughed and mechanically harvested. Run by the fifth-generation Sève family, the vineyard is managed with precision, reflecting Côte de Beaune standards. Pneumatic pressing followed by barrel fermentation with full malolactic. Aged 10 months on fine lees in French oak (10% new, remainder 1–5 years old) for added depth and finesse. This is a finely mineral cuvée, beautifully structured and full-bodied, with a delicate peppery spice and a whisper of oak. Aroma of hazelnuts and almonds, leading to a palate with light minerality and a hint of pepper.
Oaky aromas and flavours, with some fresh ripe golden apple, lemon and orange zest notes.
