Product description
The vines have an average age of 40 years. Different parcels, totalling 3 hectares, are used for the cuvée ‘Terroir’. The grapes undergo light pressing with a pneumatic press, followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in barrels. The wine is aged in French oak barrels on fine lees for 10 months, with 10% in new barrels and the rest in barrels ranging from 1 to 5 years old. The production is limited to 20,000 bottles. Aromas of honeysuckle, white nectarine, and citrus with underlying minerality. Buttery on the palate with a refreshing acidity. This is a pure expression of Pouilly-Fuissé!
