Product description
Sourced from 50-year-old vines in Sauternes with low yields (under 25 hL/ha) to ensure concentration. The region’s morning mists and sunny afternoons promote noble rot, essential for producing sweet, complex wines. Carefully hand-harvested in multiple passes, followed by cool fermentation below 22°C. Fermentation is halted with sulphur dioxide and cooling to preserve balance. Aged 10–12 months in vat and barrel for added depth. A rich, complex Sauternes with aromas of candied fruit, bitter orange, apricot jam, clove, and elegant toast. The palate is round and textured, balanced by vibrant freshness and a long, harmonious finish with persistent aromatics.
