Product description
Known as Larose’s baby brother, this wine is made from vines with an average age of 20 years. The vines produce yields of 35-45 hL/Ha and are hand-harvested to ensure the highest quality grapes. The wine is produced in small batches, with extended maceration on the skins for one month to enhance flavour and complexity. It is basket-pressed directly into barrels and aged for 12 months in 100% French oak, with 20% of the barrels being new. The wine shows some fresh raspberry and dark cherry as well as some subtle notes of cinnamon from the French oak influence. The mouth comes together with some soft silky tannins balancing the acidity.
