Product description
Vines grow near the Mediterranean coast in Bolgheri, where sea breezes moderate summer heat and hills protect from cold winds. Deep soils help retain moisture and allow balanced ripening, producing small, concentrated berries. Varieties are fermented separately in small stainless-steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation in steel. The wine is then aged about 10 months partly in used barriques and partly in concrete, balancing structure and fruit purity. Ripe plum and cherry with hints of spice and cedar; supple tannins, fresh acidity and a smooth, juicy finish.
