Product description
Located at an altitude of 100 to 300masl, with south/south-west exposure, this SuperTuscan offers a satisfying drinkability. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at 19-20°C, with controlled alcoholic fermentation around 28-29°C. Aged in 225-liter barriques, consisting of partially French oak and a small percentage (5%) of American oak. The wood composition includes 40% new oak, 40% second-pass oak, and 20% third and fourth-pass oak. Bright red fruit aromas of cherry and raspberry, alongside hints of spice and herbs. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with vibrant acidity, smooth tannins, and a touch of oak. The finish is elegant and fresh. Guidalberto is the second wine of Sassicaia.
