Single plot near Violès (3 km from Gigondas), bordered by cypresses. The soil is composed of deep pebble terraces with sand and gravel from the Quaternary period, shaped by the Aygues and Ouvèze valleys. Young vines, with low yields of 31 hl/ha. Gravity-fed vatting with cold maceration prior to fermentation. Fermented over 15 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with daily pump-overs. Aged for 6 months in stainless steel. Bright and expressive Syrah with aromas of violet, wild berries and a hint of pepper. Juicy and fresh on the palate, with fine tannins and a lifted finish. A vibrant, approachable red with Rhône character.
