Product description
The vineyards are located on the hills of Montalcino, at varying elevations with sun exposure until sunset. The vines are over 23 years old, with an average altitude of 250 metres above sea level. Hand-harvested. Medium-long maceration on the skins with frequent pump-overs, maintaining the fermentation temperature at a maximum of 28°C. The wine is aged for 12 months in new Slavonian oak barrels, followed by at least 4 months of bottle ageing. Intense aromas of red berry fruits with notes of balsamic and spices. Elegant on the palate with spicy flavours and good concentration of fruits and smooth tannins.
