Product description
Garnacha Blanca comes from the La Loma vineyard (1/4 hectare planted at 534 metres above sea level in 1946), while Viura vines comes from Mingortiz (0.2ha planted in 1977). Hand-harvested in small crates. Each grape variety undergoes separate vinification. After a 24-hour settling period, the must is racked into seven 500-litre French oak barrels for fermentation. The wine ages on its lees in these barrels for 10 months. Only 3,695 bottles were produced. Complex aromas of ripe pear, white nectarine, citrus zest, and a hint of minerality. Subtle notes of vanilla and toast from oak ageing add depth. The palate is elegant and creamy, showcasing refreshing acidity and flavours of stone fruit.
