Product description
Hand harvested. Young vines planted in 2001 the vineyard of El Rincon, in the South of Briones. Grapes from new vineyards are used for this wine until the vines are old enough for the Reservas. Bunch sorting and fermented in stainless steel vats with indigenous yeast, and aging for 12 months in 500-liter barrels previously used for their Reservas. Topped up after 6 weeks to minimize oxidation. Bottle-aged for an additional 12 months. On the nose, expect intense aromas of red berries with notes of cocoa, balsamic, and toasted oak. On the palate, flavours of red fruit and spices with balanced tannins, good acidity and a long finish.
