Hand-harvested from old vines planted in 1983 in Swartland, on Rhenosterbosrug Farm. The vines are bush-planted in dry land. Stainless steel fermentation, selected yeast (Laffort Vin2000). Lees-aged over three months, clarified, and bottled. Small batch barrel blend for added complexity and richness. Aromas of pear, peach, and citrus lead to a rich palate with hints of white peach, pineapple, and finishing touches of vanilla. Refreshingly crisp, with lingering complexity. Full-bodied, lively acidity, great ageing potential, and a savoury finish.
