Product description
The grapes are manually harvested from vineyards aged 10 to 15 years. The land, situated 200 m above sea level, is 10 km from the southern coast of the Grosseto province in the inland parts of Maremma. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 28°C. Maceration on the grape skins lasts approximately 15 days, followed by refining 20% in French oak barrels and 80% in stainless steel tanks and 10 months of bottle age. Aromas of cherry with hints of violet and tobacco. Medium bodied with firm acidity and good tannic structure.
