    In 1997, Nicolás Catena Zapata became the very first Argentinian luxury wine to be transported around the world. The cuvée pays homage to the “Original Bordeaux Blend” of the 18th & 19th Centuries when Malbec dominated over Merlot and was in equal standing to Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines quickly gained recognition when they outperformed numerous 1st growth Bordeaux and fine wines from across the world in a series of blind tastings. As a result, Nicolás Catena Zapata has generated a worldwide following and has been instrumental in the development of fine wine in Argentina, setting a new standard of quality of wines from South America. This tasting is an unmissable opportunity to experience the wines for yourself, and witness just what it was that garnered their unique reputation for Bordeaux-rivalling excellence.

    Following a glass of Champagne on arrival to brighten up your palate. Adrianna will walk us through the history of the winery, the evolution of winemaking in Argentina and what makes Nicolás Catena Zapata so exceptional. We’ll taste through four vintages from the estate and enjoy a specially prepared 4-course dinner, tailored to the wines. Andrianna will be on hand throughout the evening to answer any questions you may have. This is a set to be a fantastic evening an opportunity not to be missed. Seating will be at a communal table. We look forward to welcoming you.

    Returns

    SALE OR RETURN is available by prior arrangement only and for orders of 96 bottles or more. All returns are at the customer’s expense. Returns must be made within 28 days of original delivery and goods must be in a resalable condition. We reserve the right to only refund up to 25% of the original order. For further details please contact customer services 020 8858 6011.

    CANCELLATIONS can be made within seven working days from receipt of delivery, provided that all wines are unopened and in their original condition. To cancel an order customers should contact the Customer Service team on 020 8858 6011 or email orders@davy.co.uk. It is your responsibility to keep the wines safe and in their original condition until collection is made.

    TASTING CANCELLATIONS – full refunds can only be made where at least 7 days’ notice is given prior to the event date. Refunds will only be given after this time if we are able to re-sell your tickets. In the event that a tasting is cancelled, Davy’s shall offer customers a full refund.
