    Product description

Established in 1902, Tommasi is a small family estate located in the small village of Pedemonte, at the centre of the ‘Valpolicella Classico’ region. Their vineyards are planted on some of the most prestigious hills of Veneto.

Amarone is made by drying selected grapes before fermenting them which results in a rich and full bodied wine with a hint of bitterness. Tommasi is full bodied with intense dark fruits and a rich mouth feel, fine tannins and a long, beautiful finish.

Italian still red wine from Veneto Italy made with Rondinella, Corvina and Molinara.

About the producer: Tommasi Family Estate

Established in 1902, Tommasi is a small family estate located in the small village of Pedemonte, at the centre of the ‘Valpolicella Classico’ region. Over the years the estate has grown to cover 195 hectares of vines. Today it is run by the fourth generation of the family. View our range.

Their vineyards lie on some of the most prestigious hills of Veneto including La Groletta”, “Conca d’Oro” and “Ca’Florian”. Grapes that are grown here are used for the production of prestigious Amarone Classico but also Ripasso, Valpolicella Classico Superiore and Recioto della Valpolicella. They also produce a white wine “Le Fornaci”, made from Trebbiano di Lugana grape. Those grapes are grown in San Martino della Battaglia, an area particularly favored by the mild climate of the lake.
