Selected by the Club’s Wine Committee, Army and Navy Champagne is sourced from and bottled by the highly respected Champagne House, Maison Gardet. Based in Chigny-les-Roses in the heart of Montagne de Riems, Gardet owns several hectares of Premier Cru vineyards with the rest of their requirements being bought in from growers with whom they have formed long and close relationships.
Made with 1/3 Pinot Noir, 1/3 Pinot Meunier and 1/3 Chardonnay from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards and aged on the lees for 6-8 years before release.This cuvee shows the perfect balance of the three Champagne grapes giving a feeling of consistency, creaminess, structure and balance. It is the perfect and classic expression of the dual signatures of the Gardet style: modernity and tradition. Fresh citrus fruit aromas alongside notes of honeysuckle. Creamy texture on the palate with well-balanced and refreshing acidity.

Stephanie Sucheyre took over as wine maker in 2007 bringing with her a fresh approach and renewed dynamism.
