Made by Alex Milner of Natte Valleij, this wine is the epitome of Chenin Blanc from South Africa. Sourced from dry land bush vines planted in 1985 and grown in Darling, the grapes are vinified with indegenous yeasts.
Barrel fermented and matured for nine months on the lees. Complex nose with ripe pear aromas alongside quince, ripe apricots and notes of spice. Very elegant on the palate with a rich texture well-balanced with an intense minerality.
Natte Valleij is a historical farm located in Darling which was famous for its brandy back in the 1950s. Since 2005, the Milner family decided to produce wine again. Making the most of the forgotten patches of old dry land bush vine which offers exceptional quality, winemaker Alexander Milner keeps intervention in the cellar to a minimum. The wines made here are truly excellent and have already received their fair share of attention.

SALE OR RETURN is available by prior arrangement only and for orders of 96 bottles or more. All returns are at the customer’s expense. Returns must be made within 28 days of original delivery and goods must be in a resalable condition. We reserve the right to only refund up to 25% of the original order. CANCELLATIONS can be made within seven working days from receipt of delivery, provided that all wines are unopened and in their original condition. To cancel an order customers should contact the Customer Service team on 020 8858 6011 or email orders@davy.co.uk. It is your responsibility to keep the wines safe and in their original condition until collection is made.
TASTING CANCELLATIONS – full refunds can only be made where at least 7 days’ notice is given prior to the event date. Refunds will only be given after this time if we are able to re-sell your tickets. In the event that a tasting is cancelled, Davy’s shall offer customers a full refund.
